If you receive an “Invalid TIN” error when applying for DragonFi PERA+, your submitted information may not have matched BIR records. This does not necessarily mean your TIN itself is invalid.
The issue may involve an incorrectly entered TIN, a mismatch in your personal details, or information that requires further verification.
How do I resolve an “Invalid TIN” error?
1. Check your TIN
Review the TIN you submitted and check for missing, incorrect, or transposed digits. Make sure it matches the TIN assigned to you by BIR.
2. Check your personal details
Make sure your full name—including your middle name and suffix, if applicable—and birthdate in your DragonFi account match your BIR records.
If your DragonFi account information needs to be corrected, contact DragonFi Support for assistance.
3. Verify or correct your BIR records
You may use BIR’s Online Registration and Update System (ORUS) for available registration updates. For verification of your TIN and personal details, or corrections you cannot complete online, coordinate with your registered Revenue District Office (RDO).
You may also email BIR at [email protected] for assistance with your concern and guidance on the appropriate verification or correction process.
If you already updated your BIR details but the error persists, ask your RDO to confirm that the changes are reflected in BIR’s records.
4. Contact DragonFi Support for revalidation
Once BIR has confirmed or corrected your information, notify DragonFi Support so we can review your details and resubmit them for validation.
Include a screenshot of the error and let us know which details BIR confirmed or corrected. Our team may request supporting documents if further verification is needed.
What if the message says I already have an existing PERA Administrator?
This requires a different process. If you already have PERA with another Administrator, follow the PERA Administrator transfer process to move your account to DragonFi.
If you believe the message is incorrect, contact DragonFi Support so we can review the issue and advise you on the next steps.
