Thresholds limits the price of an order that can be submitted to the PSE. There are two types:
- Static thresholds - This refers to the lower and upper price limits of a security for a given trading day. Limit price cannot be 50% above or 50% below the security's reference price, which is the last adjusted closing price. Static thresholds apply to both main and odd lot markets.
- Dynamic thresholds - Limit price cannot be 10-20% above or below the security's last traded price. Dynamic thresholds only apply to the main market during continuous session. The threshold percentage per security (10%, 15%, 20%) is set by the PSE semi-annually.
Your order will be rejected when you enter a price that is above/below any of the thresholds.
