Lot size is the number of shares an investor buys in a single transaction in the main market. You can buy a security for less than 1 lot size in the odd lot market. In DragonFi's order entry widget, you will know if the order will be sent to the main or odd lot market based on the label indicated beside the quantity of shares.
Tick size refers to the lowest possible price change of a security. In DragonFi's order entry widget, you can enter a price directly and it will return an error if the price does not follow the security's tick size. You can also click on the top and bottom arrows beside the price and it will automatically move the price up or down based on the tick size.
