What is DragonFi Save?
DragonFi Save, powered by CIMB Bank, is a digital savings account integrated directly into your DragonFi app. It allows you to deposit and withdraw funds instantly, securely, and without any transfer fees.
DragonFi Save is a savings account, not an investment account. Your money is safe, earns interest, and is PDIC-insured up to ₱1,000,000.
How fast are deposits and withdrawals?
Transfers are processed instantly, so you never miss a market opportunity.
Is there a minimum or maintaining balance?
None. There are no maintaining balance requirements or penalties.
What are the daily deposit and withdrawal limits?
Deposit limit (DragonFi Save → DragonFi): ₱500,000 per day
Withdrawal limit (DragonFi → DragonFi Save): ₱250,000 per user per day
*If your deposit or withdrawal limit is capped below the numbers above, you may need to update your identity verification or link your DragonFi Save to your CIMB mobile app
Are there any account restrictions?
Accounts that have not yet been linked to the CIMB Bank PH app are subject to a validity period and cumulative cash-in limit. To remove these limits, you must link your account and complete verification in the CIMB Bank PH app.
Will limits still apply after linking my account?
No. Once you link your DragonFi Save account to the CIMB Bank PH app and complete the required virtual verification, your account will have no cash-in limit.
Who can open a DragonFi Save account?
Eligibility requirements:
- Must have an Individual DragonFi account
(Joint, OR accounts, and PERA accounts are not eligible) - Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must have a Philippine mobile number or a mobile number from one of the supported international countries listed below
- Must be a resident of the Philippines
- Account must have no “In Trust For” (ITF) designation
- Must answer “No” to all FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) questions
- Must have no pending profile change requests (e.g., name change, address update)
- The government-issued ID on file must be valid and not expired
- Must not have been previously rejected by CIMB Bank for any reason
- Must not already have an existing DragonFi Save account
You can only open one (1) DragonFi Save account.

* DragonFi Save will be released to users in stages. DragonFi Prime clients will receive access first, followed by Starter, and then Basic accounts.
Can I access my DragonFi Save account on the CIMB Bank PH app?
Yes. Once linked, you can view your DragonFi Save account through the CIMB Bank PH app and enjoy. To link your account, simply download the latest version of the CIMB Bank PH app and select DragonFi Save Account under the account linking options. Provide a few more details and select a username, password, and MPIN.
Your registered email address and mobile number must match across both DragonFi and CIMB apps for linking to succeed.
Is my money protected?
Yes. Your deposits are insured by PDIC up to ₱1 million per depositor.
Is my money safe?
Security is our utmost priority. We require all DragonFi users to enable biometrics verification before they can finish creating a DragonFi Save account. Deposits and withdrawals made through DragonFi save will require biometrics verification as an additional security measure.
Are there any fees?
No fees at all. All deposits and withdrawals via DragonFi Save are 100% FREE.
Transactions involving other banks may incur external bank fees.
What is the interest rate of a DragonFi Save account?
DragonFi Save earns 2.5% interest per annum, credited monthly.
Users upgraded to CIMB Prime can earn up to 4% interest per annum, subject to CIMB Prime terms.
CIMB Bank PH reserves the right to change interest rates at any time.
When is interest credited?
Base interest (2.5% p.a.) – credited on the first day of the following month
Incremental interest (CIMB Prime) – credited on the 14th business day of the following month
