Available to Trade - This refers to the amount of money in your account that you can use to buy stocks, REITs, or other investments.
Available to Withdraw - This is the amount of money you can transfer out of your DragonFi account to your bank account. It only includes settled cash that is no longer tied to pending transactions or regulatory holding periods.
Settlement Period - All stock sales follow the standard settlement period of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), which is T+2. This means that when you sell stocks, the proceeds will only be fully settled after two business days.
While we allow you to immediately use the proceeds to trade, you cannot withdraw the funds until the order is fully settled.
Example: When can you withdraw?
If you sell stocks on Monday, the settlement period follows this timeline:
- Monday (T+0) – You place a sell order and it gets executed.
- Tuesday (T+1) – First business day after the sale. Funds are still pending settlement.
- Wednesday (T+2) – The trade is fully settled, and the proceeds become Available to Withdraw.
So, if you sell your stocks on Monday, you can withdraw the funds by Wednesday. Until then, you can still use the proceeds to trade but not to withdraw.
